VAM Systems is currently looking for GIS Specialist for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:
• Minimum 10 years’ experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Project Management/ Business management
• GIS Project Management experience is mandatory
• Detail oriented, problem solver
• Work with development team to meet project schedules
• Prioritize development efforts based on business needs
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer, IT, Remote Sensing and GIS, Geography, Geology
• Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Role and Responsibilities
• Identify and collect GIS business requirements from client using interviews, groups sessions, case studies, research and feedback on current system functionality.
• Plan and analyze business requirements via implementation of traceability matrix.
• Create business process flow diagrams for new product feature design.
• Participate with product development team to design user interfaces.
• Record detailed use cases for product feature design and development.
• Assist in internal training and rollout activities.
• Support GIS business testing and interface with QA.
• Observe current technology trends and make recommendations.
• Provide assistance on business analysis presentations to higher level of management.
• Some limited domestic travel, as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks).
The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – UAE and shall be deputed to one of the leading organizations in UAE.
