| Description |
Nair Systems is currently looking SAP BI Developer for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BI development.
• SAP BI/BW certification is a plus.
Desirable Skills:
• Experience with SAP BI tools and technologies, such as SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Data Services, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW and SAP HANA.
• Proficiency in ABAP for data extraction, BW-specific tools (BEx, Query Designer), and SQL for data manipulation.
• Experience with SAP BW data modeling, including InfoObjects, DSOs, and other related components.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects, Crystal Reports, and other reporting tools like SAP Analysis for Office.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques, including the tuning of queries and reports.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and SAP HANA database.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with business users and stakeholders, understand their requirements, and convey technical concepts.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Sound Knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience on Various transformations of BODS.
• Should have good understanding of the BODS landscape and architecture.
• Should be able to connect to customers and gather requirements and work independently on those requirements.
• Should have basic knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts on schema formation.
• Coordinate with vendor and functional support provider for project issues and support.
• Resource must be self-motivated, self-driven and willing to work for longer working hours and short project timelines as a motivated team member.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and implement SAP BI solutions to support business reporting and analytics needs.
• Develop and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading into SAP BI systems.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and queries using SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports) and SAP Analysis for Office.
• Ensure optimal performance of BI solutions by applying tuning techniques for queries, reports, and the overall BI system.
• Integrate data from various sources to build comprehensive reporting solutions.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SAP BI applications to ensure high system availability and resolve any issues related to BI tools.
• Work closely with business users and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Create detailed technical documentation for BI solutions, reports, and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.
