Nair Systems is currently looking for MS SQL DBA our UAE operations
Key Responsibilities
· Administer, monitor, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases in production, DR, UAT, and development environments.
· Perform database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and migrations.
· Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and SQL Server resources.
· Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
· Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents, performance issues, and service interruptions.
· Implement and maintain database security, access controls, encryption, and audit requirements.
· Support high availability solutions, including SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, and Replication.
· Work closely with application support teams, developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure seamless operations.
· Prepare and maintain database documentation, operational procedures, and health check reports.
· Ensure adherence to banking policies, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
