| Description |
Nair Systems is currently looking for Trade Revenue Expansion Business Analyst for our Qatar operations Education & Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related discipline. - Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile Business Analysis, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent are advantageous. - Minimum 7-10 years of banking experience with at least 5 years in Business Analysis, Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, Global Transaction Banking, or related functions. - Experience in Trade Finance products including Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, and Structured Trade. - Proven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, process improvement, and transformation initiatives. - Experience supporting revenue growth programs, product commercialization, or business development initiatives is preferred. - Experience in trade digitization, process automation, or technology implementation projects is preferred. - Strong understanding of Trade Finance operating models and transaction banking processes. Required Special Skills: - Strong business analysis and requirement management skills. - Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Strong data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development skills. - Experience in process mapping and business process re-engineering. - Good understanding of Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance products. - Knowledge of international trade flows, trade corridors, and transaction banking solutions. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. - Ability to prepare business cases, feasibility assessments, and financial analyses. - Experience with UAT planning, execution, and defect management. - Excellent report writing, presentation, and documentation skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and business analysis tools. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.. Essential Duties & Responsibilities by Dimensions A. Shareholder & Financial: - Support the execution of Trade Revenue Expansion initiatives aligned with the Group's strategic and financial objectives. - Analyse Trade Finance revenue performance, wallet share penetration, client profitability, and utilization trends to identify growth opportunities. - Conduct market, client, industry, and corridor analysis to support business growth strategies. - Prepare business cases, financial models, revenue forecasts, and opportunity assessments for Trade Finance growth initiatives. - Support the identification and assessment of new Trade Finance opportunities including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Distributor Finance, and Structured Trade solutions. - Develop management dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and performance reports for Trade Revenue Expansion programs. - Monitor revenue growth initiatives and provide analytical insights to support decision-making. - Support pricing analysis and revenue optimization initiatives across Trade Finance products. - Assist in evaluating client wallet share opportunities and identifying cross-sell and upsell potential. - Perform data-driven analysis to support strategic business planning and revenue enhancement initiatives. B. Customer (Internal & External): - Partner with Corporate Banking Coverage Teams, Relationship Managers, Product Managers, and Transaction Banking teams to gather business requirements and identify growth opportunities. - Analyse customer needs, trade flows, transaction patterns, and industry trends to support solution development. - Support client acquisition and trade mandate initiatives through research, analysis, and business insights. - Participate in client meetings and workshops to understand business challenges and Trade Finance requirements. - Assist in the design and enhancement of client journeys, onboarding processes, and digital trade experiences. - Support the evaluation of client feedback and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and product adoption. - Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirement gathering sessions. - Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives. - Provide timely and accurate management information when required by Business, Audit, Compliance, and Risk functions. C. Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory): - Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Trade Revenue Expansion initiatives. - Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and process reviews across Trade Finance products and services. - Document business processes, user journeys, workflows, functional requirements, and operating models. - Support Trade Finance product enhancement, digitization, and transformation projects. - Collaborate with Technology teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and system enhancements. - Support implementation activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), process validation, and solution deployment. - Analyse operational performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve productivity, turnaround times, and client service levels. - Assist in the development of business requirements for digital trade, automation, and workflow optimization initiatives. - Ensure business initiatives comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, sanctions frameworks, and risk standards. - Monitor industry developments, competitor offerings, and emerging trends within Trade Finance and Global Transaction Banking. Learning & Knowledge: - Develop strong knowledge of Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Distributor Finance, Structured Trade, and Working Capital solutions. - Maintain awareness of international trade flows, market developments, trade corridors, and industry trends. - Stay informed on Trade Finance digitization, emerging technologies, and evolving transaction banking practices. - Participate in product, business analysis, and transformation-related training programs. - Promote best practice sharing and continuous improvement across the team. - Build expertise in business analysis methodologies, process improvement techniques, and stakeholder management practices. - Identify opportunities for personal and professional development.. Legal, Regulatory, and Risk Framework Responsibilities: - Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements including, but not limited to, Group Compliance Policies and Procedures (AML & CTF, Sanctions Policy, Data Protection Policy, Fraud Control Policy, Whistle Blowing Policy, Conflict of Interest and Insider Dealing Policy). - Understand and effectively perform your role under the Three Lines of Defence principle to identify measure, monitor, manage and report risks. - Ensure systematic good outcomes for clients in accordance with Conduct Risk policy. - Support the framework of RCSA, KRI, Incident reporting and remediation, as appropriate, in accordance with the Operational Risk Management requirements. - Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure full qualification to undertake the role. - Complete all mandatory training provided by the Bank, attain, and maintain the required levels of competence. - Attend mandatory (internal and external) seminars as instructed by the Bank.
