Nair Systems is currently looking for International Expansion & Connectivity-Business Analyst for our Qatar operations
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Business, Accounting, Information Technology, or another relevant field of study.
Master’s degree or a recognized professional qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, Business Analysis, Project Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank, consulting firm, or financial services organization. Candidates with up to 10 years of relevant experience may be considered depending on the approved job grade.
Experience in Corporate Banking, Global Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, International Banking, Strategy, Business Analysis, Transformation, or project delivery.
Experience supporting international expansion, cross-border banking, trade finance, FDI, connectivity, or market-entry initiatives is preferred.
Practical experience in market assessment, financial analysis, business case development, requirements gathering, process mapping, or target operating model documentation.
Experience supporting product, platform, process, or operating model transformation programs.
Experience working across business, operations, technology, risk, legal, compliance, and finance stakeholders.
Exposure to China and/or South Korea markets is advantageous.
Required Special Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing, in English and Arabic.
Mandarin and/or Korean language capability is advantageous.
Strong analytical, numerical, research, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking capabilities.
Sound understanding of international banking, Trade Finance, FDI, Corporate Banking, and Global Transaction Banking ecosystems.
Ability to analyse trade data, investment flows, market trends, client segments, competitors, and commercial opportunities.
Strong capability in financial modelling, business case development, options analysis, and benefits assessment.
Experience in requirements elicitation, process mapping, gap analysis, target operating model documentation, and implementation support.
Good understanding of product and platform delivery methodologies, testing, operational readiness, and change implementation.
Ability to develop clear dashboards, management reports, executive presentations, and decision-support materials.
Strong interpersonal, workshop facilitation, stakeholder-management, and presentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and coordinate across multiple business functions and geographies.
Sound understanding of relevant laws, regulations, banking practices, AML and CTF requirements, sanctions, data protection, conduct risk, and operational risk.
Ability to make sound recommendations and follow through with assigned initiatives.
Personal integrity, self-management, attention to detail, and commitment to high documentation standards.
Strong planning and organizing ability, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Results-oriented, adaptable, collaborative, and willing to travel when required.
Proficiency in relevant analytical, presentation, project-management, process-mapping, and reporting tools.
